the concept of stress was started in the 1930's and popularized by endocrinologist Hans and selye. According to Selye " stress " refers to a condition where as "stressor" is the internal reaction causing stress.

Stress has many signs, some of them are,

Dizziness, depression, irritability, moodiness, headache, chest discomfort and in some cases even heart attacks. Stress often leads to unhealthy life.. Selye researched the effects of stress and came to conclusion with a three step theory.

Alarm: this is the first step of stress. The body identifies the abnormal situation and is in state of alarm.

Resistance: Its the second stage of stress. The body at first tries to cope up with the extra load, however when it fails it tries to resist and that's when exhaustion is felt.

Exhaustion: This is the final step of stress. At this point body's resources drain out and the body is unable to continue with normal functions. if the stage is prolonged severe consequences may occur.

Therefore its very important to remain in control of stress. there are various method of managing stress and even coming back to normal life style. However individual's determination and sensibility is a very important factor. Stress is completely manageble with the right attitude.therefore ask yourself again are you in control of stress or is stress control of you?Go ahead and choose the right way.
